A quiet afternoon at Border's Books in Pasadena and Barnes and Noble in Glendale. Sippin' coffee, nibblin' cookies, readin' books, magazines and newspapers. Very civilized. Gentle conversations and quiet compositions for a very pleasant day.
Not sure if that was intentional or not but my long-after-the-fact analysis of the drawing is that I was caricaturing the attitude, posture or gesture rather than being anatomically accurate. Yeah... that's it. I did that on purpose.
I love the neck on the guy in the second panel on the first page. Nice posture.
